Job Description

Position: Trainer/Practitioner - Health and Social Care

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Employment type: Full time

Salary: Up to £30,282.00 per annum based on experience and qualifications

Overview

We are looking for an inspirational, qualified trainer/practitioner with experience and knowledge of health and social care provision and management theory to develop and deliver training to our bright and enthusiastic staff teams. This is a central role within our staff development team and you will be based at our vibrant Stockport Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training to staff teams; support learning & development programmes across all areas of service provision.
  • Work closely with the Head of Learning, Training Manager and key personnel to design and maintain staff education, skills enhancement and development opportunities that meet the Care Quality Commission, Skills for Health, Skills for Care, national occupational standards and NICE guidelines.
  • Inspire and lead workforce focused initiatives to enhance the national health and social care workforce's skills and knowledge.
Qualifications & Experience

Qualified trainer/practitioner with experience and knowledge of health and social care provision and management theory. Demonstrated ability to design training programmes that align with regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines.
