TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - LONDON

Our client is looking for a Training & Development Manager to support and develop PSS (Practice Support Staff) within a growing and professional financial planning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paraplanner or technical professional who is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and improving technical standards across a team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing others and strengthening the quality of financial planning support, rather than progressing into an advisory position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and manage structured training programmes for PSS staff
• Support onboarding and ongoing development of paraplanners and technical team members
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance
• Ensure high standards of financial planning knowledge and best practice
• Identify skills gaps and create development plans to enhance team capability
• Work closely with management to support the growth and development of the support function
• Promote continuous improvement and a strong technical culture

About You

• Essential: Experience within a financial planning environment
• SJP experience is essential
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of financial planning
• Background in paraplanning or technical support
• Passion for training, mentoring, and developing others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with a proactive and structured approach
• Looking for a long-term technical or development-focused career path
• Not seeking to move into an advisory role
