Trainee Quantity Surveyor

A bit about the role

We're looking for a Trainee QS to join the team, working on our social housing projects. It's a great opportunity to learn the commercial side of construction while helping deliver quality homes.

No prior QS experience is needed-we're looking for someone who's organised, keen to learn and happy to get stuck in.

What you'll be doing (with support)

• Learning how we manage project costs and commercial performance
• Helping with pricing works and getting quotes from suppliers/subcontractors
• Supporting monthly cost reporting
• Assisting with subcontractor orders, payments and valuations
• Getting to grips with contracts, project requirements and programmes
• Supporting the team with general commercial tasks

What we're looking for

• Interest in construction/commercial work
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Good communication skills
• Basic IT skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Driving licence
