Trainee HR Partner

Salary: £35,141 per year rising to £47,643

Location: Edinburgh

We're recruiting for a Trainee HR Partner to join our small HR team based at our central Edinburgh headquarters. The HR team are responsible for all HR policies, processes and guidance.

As Trainee HR Partner, you will initially take ownership of the full Recruitment and Selection process. You will then move on to oversee the implementation of our Sick Absence Policy and Occupational Health surveillance and referrals.

You'll work closely with employees and managers across the organisation, delivering a proactive, efficient, and collaborative HR service. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Producing and analysing HR management information
• Attending and recording informal and formal HR meetings
• Supporting the wider HR team with policy development and guidance

You will be mentored by the Senior HR Partner and HR Manager, who will support your professional development and help you progress your HR knowledge and career.

Our ideal candidate will bring:

• Experience working in an HR environment, with knowledge of HR processes and systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Basic understanding of employment law
• Good written skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to working towards a formal HR qualification (or already doing so)
