Trainee Electrical Engineer Data Center

At First Case you don't work on just any installation. You work on the physical layer beneath the digital world: the power in the data centers around Amsterdam and Schiphol-Rijk. Netflix, your banking app, ChatGPT, it all runs on power that must never go down, and we keep it running. As a Trainee Electrical Engineer you learn the trade from the ground up. No diploma needed. You work four days alongside experienced engineers in the Amsterdam cluster and spend one day a week at school. Within three years you'll be working independently in data centers across the Netherlands.

The essentials: Salary: €3.300 after diploma 40 hours per week Fulltime Based in Amsterdam.

You start with full training paid by First Case. During your training you earn the youth wage, and right after your diploma you are promoted to Data Center Engineer at €3.300, growing on to €4.100.

What you bring

• No diploma required. Just two hands and the will to learn a trade
• Technical affinity: you like to know how things work
• Dutch or English language
• Driver's license B is a plus

What we offer

• Electrical Engineering apprenticeship (BBL, level 2 or 3), fully paid by First Case
• Guidance from a dedicated practical trainer
• VCA Basic and NEN 3140 VOP certification within 6 months
• Training on UPS systems from Eaton and Schneider Electric
• Metal & Engineering CAO, including ADV days and travel allowance
