Description

We are looking for a camera operator trainee to join our studio team in central London.

The successful candidate will be trained to operate our studio cameras during a fast-paced and technically demanding talk-show.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with presenters, studio guests, and other technical staff
• Follow health and safety procedures in the workplace
• Recognize and comply with equality and diversity policies
• Create live content by capturing video, operating cameras, and managing audio equipment

These are the main responsibilities and are not an exhaustive list. The role may evolve over time.

Key Requirements

• Experience as a Camera Assistant, preferably on multi-camera studio productions
• Training or qualification in television camerawork or multi-skilled operations
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
• Keen, self-sufficient learner
• Basic knowledge of studio lighting (an advantage)
