Associate, Junior Flow Trader (m f x) London

What is the opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity to join our London team as an Associate, Junior Flow Trader on a permanent basis. This role works closely with front office Quant, Technology, and Trading teams on maintaining and refining the existing trading platform, along with managing trade and risk EMEA Flow books.

• Be involved in the day-to-day pricing and risk management of the Flow books in EMEA.
• Work with Traders to develop quantitative analytics tools in Python, utilize the existing codebase, and add new features as required.
• Make use of the quant library and implement new additions.
• Identify, escalate, and remediate issues that could directly or indirectly lead to the unfair treatment of customers; and that could affect the firm's obligations to deliver good outcomes for retail clients in accordance with the FCA Consumer Duty Principle.
• Collaborate with Front Office BT to refine and maintain the existing technology platform.
• Support the generation of new trade ideas.

Must-have

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong object-oriented programming background.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
• Quantitative and coding skills.

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of additional programming languages (SQL, VBA, C++/Java).
• Finance/Derivatives knowledge.
