Trade Compliance Coordinator
- Annual Salary: £28,500 (negotiable based on experience)

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Trade Compliance Coordinator to join our team at the Heathrow office. This role is crucial for coordinating trade compliance, CITES, and customs activities for our clients, ensuring all processes are compliant and efficient.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Complete and maintain the Kering Product Libraries, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
- Accurately complete all trade compliance reports and KPIs by set deadlines.
- Determine correct tariff classifications for all supported brands, focusing on EU imports.
- Issue country-specific import guidance for the UK and maintain close liaison with the reporting line.
- Provide support on internal projects requiring trade compliance expertise.
- Audit and monitor entries to ensure compliance with local and international trade laws.
- Facilitate imports and exports of non-stock goods, ensuring all documents and declarations are completed.
- Liaise with HMRC and assist with customs procedures maintenance.
- Implement and improve workflow efficiencies in collaboration with the line manager.
- Complete CITES applications and maintain accurate trackers.
- Manage and update the Kering SharePoint with all necessary documentation and information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in customs/trade compliance within a large business or brokerage firm.
- In-depth understanding of UK & EU Customs regulations and documentation.
- Knowledge of control documentation such as IMPORT and EXPORT permits for CITES is preferable.
- Proficient understanding of international trade, import duties, commodity codes, incoterms, preference, and valuation.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills across all levels.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft packages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Flexibility with working hours, including occasional weekend work based on volume.
