Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit a Validation Engineer on a permanent basis.

The Job you'll do

  • Creates test specifications and co-operates with internal/external stakeholders to evaluate and improve the intended product use.

  • Design, setup and operation of test apparatus, covering mechanical, electrical and control related aspects.

  • Evaluates and presents the results as well as providing input on improvements and solutions.

  • Creates the respective reports and shares as required

  • Assist in the development of validation programs for alternatively applied systems and subsystems.

  • Supports the preparation of the test and the testing environment.

  • Checks the test program and executes the respective sequences of tests

  • Contributes to the collection of data and quality of the test results by providing informed feedback regarding the functionality of the tested system.

  • Builds prototype components and assemblies via controlled and carefully recorded method

  • Completes teardown and analysis procedures on post-test assemblies to understand and report on failure mechanisms

About You

  • Suitable qualifications and or relevant experience in a suitable engineering field.

  • Proficient skills related to mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.

  • Proven experience in testing and fault finding.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite including excel, word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in completing data post processing and analysis is desirable.

  • Experience working with CAN bus (Controller Area Network) based products is desirable.

  • Experience in instrumentation and controls is desirable.

  • Experience using manual machines (milling machine & lathe)

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, able to work individually or in a team and able to communicate at all levels confidently

  • To be approachable, collaborative and inclusive at all times

  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team

  • Reliable and flexible in their approach to everyday work requirements
