Tooling Technician

We are looking for a fully qualified Tool Technician or a Tooling Support Tech to join a busy manufacturing environment supporting high-volume injection moulding operations. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, repairing and improving tooling to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot high-precision injection moulds.

• Support tool trials, validations, builds and tool change activities.

• Manage mould specifications, records and preventative maintenance activities.

• Work with Production and Engineering teams to resolve tooling issues.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant tooling or trade experience.

• Experience in a GMP or regulated manufacturing environment desirable.

• Knowledge of mills, lathes and surface grinders.

• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
