TM1 & Reporting Insights is at the heart of finance forecasting, budgeting & analysis and are the major platforms on which Group Controlling planning & budgeting strategic aims are managed. The scope of this role is global, as part of Decision Support & Analytics (DS&A) team, covering the Group Working Capital/Capex TM1 applications.
This role:
- Is the Subject Matter Expert for TM1 & Reporting Insight solutions within Group Working Capital/Capex TM1 applications perimeter
- Manages the deployment of TM1 solutions in line with agreed strategic and functional standards of TM1 Core Model, ensuring Master Data Management, Data Integrity & User Support & Training are planned and delivered across relevant Controlling Operations & Group Working Capital/Capex Finance teams.
- Support the deployment, alongside Head of Data Visualisation & Dashboarding, of Reporting Insight solutions
- Can understand business requirements and translate these to a TM1/PowerBI designed solution.
- Follows appropriate project management methodology to develop, test & deploy project phases
JOB SUMMARY
The role manages project deployment lifecycle activities (planning, testing, change management, knowledge transfer, training materials & final deployment) of standardised global TM1/Reporting Insight solutions for the Group Working Capital/Capex perimeter which are aligned with Group strategy. This includes:
- Supporting the scoping, definition and design of the business requirements
- Supporting the TM1 design model which meets both business needs and the strategic objectives of the Group.
- Creation of documentation of operational view on the overall architecture of any new/changes to the modules set up, ensuring scalability, simplification/ standardisation and efficient processes
- Escalate issues / change requests to TM1 Business Enablement Lead as needed
- Manage functional processes including knowledge transfer & initial Controlling Operations training sessions
- Contribute to best practice sharing and continuous improvement plans; provide expertise as needed.
Main responsibilities:
Design of the Solution
- Support the TM1 Business Enablement Lead in gathering business process flow and requirements information
- Participate in any required gap analysis/deep-dive sessions with relevant Business Process Owners & Subject Matter Experts to finalise TM1 design solutions
- Support the TM1 design activities to produce relevant design documentation
Implementation
- Manage project deployment activities, following most appropriate methodology.
- Maintain project status reports defining action plans, issues and resolutions
- Ensure that risks and issues are identified, formalized & communicated to the TM1 Business Enablement Lead
- Monitor progress, address change request, propose core model update to the TM1 Governance / process owners (depending on topic)
Testing & training
- Perform robust System Integration Testing
- Support and deliver user acceptance testing
- Creation of TM1 functional documentation and perform knowledge transfer to Controlling Operation
- Support the creation of TM1 Operational documentation with Controlling Operations teams
Change Management
Together with representatives from the Global Process Owner team, carry out the change management activities
- Contribute into communication actions
- Be the change agent promoting the benefits of the proposed change
- Participate in workshops and touch points relevant stakeholders
Experience:
- 3+ years' experience of working within Finance environments with exposure to Global/Regional teams
- Demonstrate a good track record in controlling and / or accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry
- Experience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements at Finance system project implementation environment
- A strong knowledge of TM1 Working Capital/Capex applications
- Knowledge of modeling and design approach for TM1 solution and processes
- An understanding of Group Working Capital/Capex Finance Operational activities would be a major advantage
Technical and soft skills:
- Understanding of Project Methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile
- Broad understanding of controlling and reporting processes (end to end view) as well as the main tools being used in the Group (SAP, TM1, etc.)
- Experience of implementing systems across multiple countries/scopes
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear processes and frameworks
- Honed Interpersonal Skills - active listening, good presentation & communication skills
- Determined with a strong focus on delivering results
