Job Title : CCTV & Security Engineer

Location : Leeds, West Yorkshire (with travel throughout the UK)

Salary : £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV & Security Engineer to join our client's growing team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing CCTV and security systems across a wide range of client sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems, including IP and analogue systems.
• Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on CCTV and associated security systems.
• Perform routine service visits and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to clients as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and system configurations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites.
• Travel regularly across the UK with occasional overnight stays.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of CCTV systems including IP based solutions.
• Strong understanding of access control and fire solutions.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with access control, intruder alarms, or other security systems.
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. ECS / CSCS, IPAF, PASMA).
• Knowledge of networking and IP configuration.
