Veritas Education are proud to be working exclusively with a secondary school in Preston who are seeking a qualified Textiles Teacher to start immediately.

This is a full-time position to cover a staff absence, initially for approximately six weeks, with the possibility of extension. The school are specifically looking for a Textiles specialist who can confidently deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Teaching Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Planning, preparing and delivering creative and practical lessons

• Assessing and monitoring student progress

• Maintaining high standards of classroom management

• Contributing positively to the wider Design Technology department

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Specialism in Textiles

• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

• Available to start immediately

• Supportive and welcoming leadership team

• Well-resourced DT department

• Positive learning environment

• Located in Preston with good transport links
