Are you a Test Equipment Design Support Engineer looking for a position where you will play a leading role in a range of engineering activities, providing test equipment design support to the manufacturing organization and broadening your expertise in an international environment? If so, then this could be the opportunity for you.
The role offers a base salary up to £50,000 (dependent on experience), plus benefits including a bonus up to £2,500, a strong pension, paid overtime opportunities, flexi-leave, and more.

The Test Equipment Design Support Engineer roleIn this role, you will work autonomously as part of the wider Test Equipment Centre of Excellence in Stevenage, Bristol, and Bolton. You will lead your work assignments and engage with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of outputs.
Experience and requirements- Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience designing products/systems or supporting designs through manufacturing.
- Proven experience in designing one or more of the following disciplines:
- Test Systems
- Digital and Analogue Electronics
- Power Electronics
- RF & Antenna
- Interconnects
- Safety Electronics
- Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to write clear engineering documentation.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team, with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
- Investigative skills to identify root causes of design issues and propose corrective actions.
- Experience supporting manufacturing and resolving related issues is advantageous but not essential.
