Test Engineer - 6 month contract - Inside IR35

I am working with a consultancy feeding into the public sector looking for multipke Test Engineers to join a 6 month contract.

Inside IR35

60% of the week onsite travel Newcastle (negotiable)

• Build and deliver comprehensive, robust, and reliable automated test frameworks and automation suites to provide full coverage of business requirements.
• Design, build and maintain an effective test infrastructure.
• Create and maintain appropriate documentation within the test automation code base.
• Communicate with other teams and share technical resources, knowledge and lessons learned.
• Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary Agile Team understand Agile delivery principles, methodology and tool.

• Functional and non-functional testing

• Performance testing
• Development and maintenance of automated test suites
• Test Infrastructure - e.g. Docker and containerisation
• TDD and BDD principles
• Micro-service architecture and API testing principles
• CI/CD pipelines
• Java 11/17/21and Springboot framework
• Testing frameworks such as Cucumber, REST assured, Wiremock
