Job Description
Your Opportunity
  • Permanent, part-time role
  • Minimum 10 hours per month
  • Working at the Harrogate test centre
  • Saturday working required
  • Shift patterns vary week to week
  • Pay rate £13.60 per hour

The Test Centre Administrator is responsible for ensuring a secure exam delivery and providing exceptional customer service in a comfortable, friendly environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Welcome, greet, and check in customers and test taking candidates
  • Comply with all exam testing security and procedures and follow company policies using careful judgement
  • Verify customer or candidate identification documents and explain the exam testing process and rules
  • Proctor or invigilate candidates while they are completing their exam or test
  • Troubleshoot with internal departments, such as IT, to fix any technical issues in the Test Centre
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards or workstations as necessary
Our Successful Applicant

We are looking for a friendly, professional team player with school level qualifications in English and Maths. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) would be advantageous. The ideal candidate is flexible, able to work a variety of shifts, comfortable in a quiet testing environment, has excellent attention to detail, and can sit for long periods. They should be capable of escorting candidates to and from exam rooms.
