Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
About the RoleThe Test Assurance Engineer performs structured quality validation and evidence reviews throughout an "early life" transition process. They analyse test outputs, documentation, and readiness artefacts to confirm services meet agreed standards before go-live. The role requires a testing mindset, analytical skill, and the ability to convert complex information into clear, traceable assurance evidence. Deliver day-to-day assurance execution, artifact validation, and UX testing.
Key Responsibilities- Review Service Design Packs (SDPs), Runbooks, and Knowledge Articles.
- Conduct UX, accessibility, and user readiness validation.
- Review service artefacts - test results, design packs, and runbooks - for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify ServiceNow workflows, triage paths, and escalation logic.
- Produce Assurance Reports, Checklists, and Incident Simulation Logs.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement Register.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, providing assurance perspective.
- Validate runbooks, review Knowledge Articles and workflows.
- Documentation QA / Process validation.
- UX and user research familiarity.
- ServiceNow workflow awareness.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and evidence capture.
- Familiarity with AWS, Cloud monitoring
- Strong QA and test fundamentals, with assurance understanding.
- Analytical mindset: digs into data and documentation to uncover insights.
- Constructive challenger : asks the right questions to strengthen quality.
- Detail-oriented: takes pride in precision and completeness of evidence.
