Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading local authority with their search for an experienced Transport Officer. This role will be ideal for a candidate with previous experience working in the transport sector, who has experience working within passenger fleet.

• Prepare technical reports for members and stakeholders
• Ensure transport is arranged to deliver efficient council services
• Support the performance management of services and teams
• Implement creative interventions to increase team performance
• Handle high level requests for transport services from external parties
• Provide an efficient administration support service

Skills & Experience

• Previous office administration or transport experience
• Competent IT user with experience working with bespoke databases as well as MS Excel
• Experienced assisting in the legal compliance of transport services
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong knowledge of the transport industry
