Temporary Head of Year

Hellesdon High School is looking for a temporary Head of Year for the summer term.

• Job Title: Head of Year (non-teaching)
• Responsible to: Key Stage Lead, The Senior Leadership Team and Principal
• Terms and Conditions: 37 Hours Per Week, Term Time + 4 Weeks, Scale G
• Workday: Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:30

The Head of Year will be responsible for the monitoring and management of pastoral care with the aim of improving learning across the school. They will also support all students in ensuring that they receive high quality pastoral care throughout their time at Hellesdon High School, as well as managing the welfare and inclusion of all students within their year group. The Head of Year will lead a team of form tutors and support the personal development and academic achievement of a cohort of students.
