Temporary Accommodation Officer

Temporary Accommodation Officer needed in Warwick, £14.62phPAYE - Reference:

To notify, all other relevant Sections e.g. Housing Benefits and Council Tax Departments of placements into, moves within, and the termination of the temporary accommodation.

To arrange the storage of applicant's belongings in accordance with the client's legal duties in instances of abandonment, incarceration, or confinement for health reasons.
To set up rent accounts, monitor payments and terminate accounts and placements promptly in relation to temporary accommodation in accordance with the client's procedures and recorded on the relevant IT systems.

To take appropriate action with respect to rent accounts falling into arrears in accordance with current client procedures, liaise with the Housing Benefit department to resolve any issues in relation to claims and agreeing and monitoring agreed repayment arrangements are adhered to.

To identify and recommend former occupancy debts to be written off in accordance with Policy and procedures.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
