Technology Risk & Controls Manager

Location: Belfast (Hybrid)

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive professional to join our IT Technology Risk & Controls team. You'll oversee technology risk and control frameworks, support audits and governance forums, and work with stakeholders across IT, Risk, and business functions to strengthen our risk posture.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the firm's global technology risk framework.
• Manage risk registers, controls, and remediation tracking.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Contribute to governance forums and audit processes.
• Help improve tools, processes, and control monitoring.
• Keep policies aligned with regulatory and group standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology, risk, compliance, operations, or audit.
• Knowledge of risk and control environments, governance, or assurance.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) or GRC tools is a plus.
