Overview

Simple Recruitment are looking for a Technology Project Manager for a fixed 1-year contract opportunity with our client in Salisbury. Working Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week. Hybrid working with at least 3 days a week in the office. Free Parking.

Our brief: Simple Recruitment are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client, based in Salisbury, who are seeking a Technology Project Manager to join their team on a fixed 1-year contract basis.

The Job
  • Defining project scope and objectives, developing detailed plans and work breakdowns, and estimating resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain all needed project documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project Delivery
  • Leading and motivating the project team, managing tasks and workflows, and ensuring the work aligns with the project plan and agreed standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID)
  • Managing changes to the project scope and applying relevant project controls for milestones and other threshold events
  • Provide timely and relevant project specific communication to various stakeholders Monitoring and reporting
  • Tracking project progress against deadlines and budget
  • Reporting the progress of the projects(s) Closure and benefits realisation
  • Finalizing deliverables, evaluating project performance, and ensuring all project goals have been achieved and benefits realized
About You
  • Degree in IT or other relevant area such as Business Management
  • Industry recognized Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, CSM etc.
  • Proven experience in delivering successfully IT and technology projects
  • Solid basic Business Analysis and related documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex structures such as consortiums
  • Ability to support organizational change arising from the projects
