This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile programme that will shape how millions of people engage with our charity online.
About the role
As part of our dynamic Technology team, you'll be responsible for delivering a strategic roadmap of website projects that span customer experience, data integration, and digital infrastructure. Key projects include:

- You'll coordinate outputs across development, product, QA, UX/UI design, and content design, ensuring seamless collaboration and clear communication throughout the programme life cycle.
About you
We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to lead complex digital projects from concept to completion.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience delivering digital projects, ideally including CMS migrations and UX redesigns.
- Project management qualifications in PRINCE2, Agile, or both.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven track record of end-to-end delivery of technology projects in complex environments.
- Experience managing cloud-based solutions (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Ability to guide stakeholders in estimating timelines and navigating governance processes (eg stage gates, board reviews).
- Skilled in producing and maintaining project documentation including RAID logs, highlight reports, budget forecasts, and lessons learned.
Key Attributes:
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track metrics and measure business benefits.
- Financial acumen to own and manage project budgets, including forecasting and change control.
- Resilience and adaptability in navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Passionate about making a difference and contributing to a cause that saves lives.
What you'll be doing
- Lead projects across the full life cycle-from business case development and supplier selection to delivery, handover, and post-implementation review.
- Ensure alignment with BHF's strategic goals and digital roadmap.
- Collaborate with Finance and internal stakeholders to manage budgets and forecast expenditure.
- Champion best practices in project governance and quality assurance.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback.
