Job Description
Overview 
- Lead Burendo's technical practice
- Influence technical direction and guide client engagements
- Support development of a talented engineering team
- Shape strategies and mentor teams
- Shape and evolve Burendo's technical strategy, keeping us ahead of the curve
- Evaluate emerging technologies and spot opportunities to enhance client outcomes
- Provide architectural oversight across engagements, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and built to last
- Act as a trusted senior advisor, guiding clients through complex technology decisions
- Translate business goals into clear, actionable technical plans
- Support pre-sales activity including solution design, scoping, and proposals
- Oversee client project delivery, keeping quality, pace, and commercial alignment on track
- Step in with hands-on guidance when technical or delivery challenges arise
- Champion consistent standards and a culture of continuous improvement
- Mentor engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
- Play an active role in recruitment and building a high-performing, diverse team
- Drive knowledge sharing and capability growth across the organisation
- Spot opportunities to deepen client relationships and grow accounts
- Collaborate with leadership to shape service offerings and long-term strategy
- Manage vendor relationships and guide investment in tools and platforms
- Own and develop key technology partnerships (such as AWS), aligned to our tech strategy
- Unlock commercial opportunities within partner networks to support revenue targets
- Leverage partner accreditations to grow careers and capabilities internally
