Job SummaryTechnician - Construction (Deeside campus, Permanent, Full Time)
Salary: £26,582 - £27,120 per annum (based on assessment and experience).

Key Responsibilities- Perform day to day checks on facilities and resources in the construction area.
- Ensure regular housekeeping and maintenance of workshops and large workshop equipment.
- Maintain a safe, organised working environment for staff and students.
- Participate in relevant training activities and provide technical support as required.
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a construction related trade.
- A good standard of education at GCSE level (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable breadth of experience within the construction industry.
- Extensive experience maintaining large workshop equipment, including regular maintenance.
- Previous experience working with learners or apprentices is highly desirable.
Welsh skills are desirable for this post to support the college's commitment to bilingual provision. Applicants may submit applications in Welsh; applications in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than those in English.
Other RequirementsA DBS Disclosure will be requested from the successful candidate. Depending on the role you may also need to register with the Education Workforce Council. Coleg Cambria is a Disability Confident Employer.
