Job Overview:
Engineers are required to support the Project Manager on-site for Project, a large-scale Windows 11 laptop refresh programme. The role involves deploying new laptop devices and providing hands-on support to end users during and after deployment. The successful candidates will be responsible for setting up and configuring Windows 11 laptops, assisting users with migration-related queries, and resolving any technical issues to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Tittle: Technician 3

Location: Bristol BS34 8JH

Rate: PAYE - £19.85/hr (Basic) or UMB - £25.77/hr (Inside IR35)

Start/End Date: 08-June-2026 to 12-Aug-2026

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30

Job Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure new Windows 11 laptops
• Support device refresh and user data migration activities
• Provide desk-side and floor-walking user support
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues

Requirements

• Current SC Clearance (mandatory)
• Strong experience with Windows 10/11 device deployment
• Good end-user support and communication skills
