Working closely with experienced professionals, you'll receive structured support and mentoring while contributing to a range of live development projects. This role offers excellent exposure to the full development lifecycle and is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction, design, or technical project delivery.
Start Date: Flexible
The RoleAs a Technical Trainee, you will support the technical team across a variety of pre-construction and development activities, including:
- Assisting with technical appraisals of prospective development sites
- Supporting cost assessments and identifying viable development solutions
- Helping ensure sites are suitable for servicing and construction
- Contributing to planning-related activities, including technical reports and liaising with external stakeholders
- Supporting document control, drawing management, and general technical administration
- Maintaining internal systems and tracking approvals
- Assisting with research into potential land opportunities
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented graduate with a genuine interest in the built environment. You will have:
- A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar)
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook; MS Project or similar is a bonus)
- An interest in planning, design, construction, and project delivery
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
