Technical Sales Manager UK

Responsibilities

• Supporting distributor sales of Accoya to joinery manufacturers through regular visits and provision of technical support
• Training distributor sales representatives about Accoya and how to sell it
• Dealing with customer complaints
• Providing regular feedback on industry trends
• Developing relationships with suppliers of products such as coatings and adhesives that are used in conjunction with Accoya
• Keeping abreast of building regulations and industry developments
• Occasional presentations to architects

Location

Ideally based in South East England/East Anglia but we can be flexible for the right candidate. The job will involve regular travel, mainly within the UK but also trips to Western Europe as the role develops. The travel is likely to involve an average of 1-2 nights away from home each week, with occasional longer stints.

Qualifications

A key requirement for the role is practical experience of joinery manufacture, ideally involving Accoya. The successful candidate will also require a driving licence, be self-motivated, be a good communicator and have a willingness to learn. The role will be part of a team involving three other well-established colleagues, all with a joinery background, who will provide plenty of support. In addition, more formal training will be offered through the Accsys Technologies learning and development programme.
