In the UK, the sales team plays a crucial role for CUPA PIZARRAS. In charge of one of the main markets in the world, they are responsible for, not only strengthening our leadership position in the country, but more importantly for making sure our clients continue to get the best quality slate, the right time, at the right place. They are also the go-to person when it comes to installation or quality issues for the end-customer, becoming their closest partner who can always advise in relation to any query slate-wise.

Cupa Pizarras is looking for a TECHNICAL SALESMANAGER (M/F) who will be in charge of a region that comprises Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Avon, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Hereford & Worcester, Gwent, Powys, South Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan, West Glamorgan, and Dyfed.
What would you be doing?
Reporting directly to the Country Director, and with frequent interaction with the Sales Direction in Spain, your responsibilities would include:
- Maintain relationships with local specifiers, providing advanced technical support and organization of training sessions. Representative role in construction associations at a local level
- Maintain relationships with installers, providing technical support and assistance, and solutions to quality issues
- Explain and train installers on economic models and product recommendations for installation, to obtain economic efficiency and yields
- Create and follow-up opportunities throughout the whole market chain
- Maintain relationships with distributors/merchants. Lead sales in your territory: demand, sales strategy, CRM management and quality claims
- Execute the actions of sales through the use of the CRM tool
- Ensure framework agreements established as a group are complied with at a local level
- Create brand and product positioning on the market in its influence area and communicate the technical and sales information of all actors of the market to the rest of the organization
- Cupa Brand Ambassador
- Carry out promotion activities aimed at architects and other actors involved in the process of product specification.
- Execute the Sales and Specification Strategy defined in the country/region
- Hunt specifications, sales and distribution opportunities to increase market share in the CUPA scope
- Conduct product and new product training for all market players at the local level
This is an excellent opportunity for a self motivated and pro active sales manager who enjoys working in the roofing industry and who is confident they can grow the business with no limits.
RequirementsThis key role requires a fine balance between sales and account management.
- 3 years of experience selling roofing materials in the UK or sales position within the construction industry
- Experience in specification is essential
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the characteristics of slate and/or its installation (preferred)
- Full Driving License and Eligibility to Work in the UK
The position is home office, but you should be prepared for regular travel across the assigned region in order to visit clients and represent the company in fairs or different events.
