Technical Sales Manager - Electrical

A Technical Sales Manager is required by our client - a global company and leading provider of electrical safety solutions, specializing in monitoring systems for high reliability electrical installations and equipment. This is a technical sales role for the Ireland market that requires a desire to develop a detailed knowledge of our client's products and how they meet customers needs.

• Ownership of an existing sales pipeline within the region and develop future business in line with budgeted volume and profit targets.
• Responsibility for managing relationships and securing sales of electrical power products, designed to enhance electrical safety and reliability, with both existing and new customers.
• Achieve budgeted volumes and margins for electrical safety products, including insulation monitoring devices, residual current monitors, and medical power supplies.
• Work with internal teams across Ireland, UK and Germany to support opportunity delivery and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate account files within a CRM system and manage administrative tasks effectively within deadlines.
• Conduct regular analysis of competitor activity within the healthcare sector and report findings to the business.
• Prepare and present sales proposals ensuring strong technical positioning.
• Regularly network and attend trade shows to develop a new business pipeline focused on healthcare solutions.

• Technical/trades qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience of working in technical/electrical solutions sales.
• Experience of the electrical industry and knowledge of basic power system principles would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self motivated with a results driven approach.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland.
