The Role

As Technical Project Manager, you'll manage a diverse range of live event projects, from initial client brief through to on site delivery and post event follow up. Working alongside a talented team of Project Managers, you'll take ownership of multiple projects varying in scale, complexity, and lead time - all aligned to your skills and ambitions.

Responsibilities
  • Client liaison and management
  • Leading client discussions from brief to delivery
  • Preparing specifications and agreeing budgets
  • Acting as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams
  • Translating briefs into detailed technical specifications and quotes
  • Selecting appropriate equipment from stock or sourcing externally where needed
  • Managing audio, visual, lighting, rigging, and IT systems for events
  • Overseeing logistics, including crew booking, scheduling, and site coordination
  • Supporting the creative aspects of each project, ensuring technical delivery aligns with clients' visions
  • Managing on site activity during rig, live operation, and de rig
  • Leading post event reviews and gathering feedback for continuous improvement
  • Maintaining strong client relationships to encourage future bookings and referrals
The Candidate

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager with hands on experience in event production and a solid understanding of AV technologies. You'll be confident liaising with clients, managing budgets, and leading technical teams to deliver exceptional results.

Candidate Skills & Requirements
  • Strong understanding of audio, video, lighting, and rigging systems
  • Experience turning briefs into quotes and technical plans
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organised, detail oriented and adaptable under pressure
  • A customer focused mindset with commercial awareness
  • Full UK driving licence (required)
  • Flexibility to travel and occasional overnight stays may be required depending on event schedules
