- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with network infrastructure acquisition (e.g., dark fiber, transport systems, data centers).
- 5+ years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Understanding of EMEA and global carrier networks.
- Ability to leverage business and technical understanding to support organizational long-term goals.
- Excellent problem-solving and financial skills, with a data-driven, investigative approach.
- Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and identifying optimization opportunities through investigative problem-solving.

As a Technical Program Manager, you'll lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate effectively across teams. You will explain analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers.

Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end, transparent planning pipelines, driving network planning activities in EMEA to support demand forecasts.
- Optimize Google's Production Network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Analyze demand forecasts, translate them into regional capacity plans considering market trends and technological changes, and determine asset/infrastructure requirements.
- Conduct technical risk assessments using various what-if analyses to ensure optimal network solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including business owners, technical teams, negotiators, designers, and deployment teams.
