Posted 1 hour 2 minutes ago by Amazon
Job ID: Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited - C26
Want to turn cutting-edge generative AI into experiences that reach customers at massive scale - and see your work ship, not sit in a research paper? Our team builds and operates the production platform that takes state-of-the- art generative models all the way to real, customer facing products, and we're hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to help push the state of the art.
We own the systems that turn advanced models into high quality, delightful output for customers. Our platform spans both real time, low latency generation - results in a customer's hands within seconds - and large scale offline pipelines that produce content at massive volume.
Real customer impact - what we build ships directly to customers today.
Cutting edge AI - large generative models served on GPU fleets, plus large language models that analyze and enrich content before it's generated.
Serious engineering breadth - low latency streaming services, GPU model inference, and large scale distributed batch processing, all on AWS (ECS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3).
A roadmap you'll help shape - expanding into new capabilities, new languages, and richer, more controllable generation.
- - Manage multiple competing cross functional projects/programs simultaneously, some on a global scale
- - Interact with engineers, scientists, project managers and senior management on a daily basis
- - Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
- - Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
- - Work with scientists and software development teams to help define scope of products and enhancements we will be building
- - Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up
- - Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
- - Experience managing cross functional programs and release schedules
- - Experience building and evaluating system level technical design
- - Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- - Experience managing technical programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- - Experience in system design
- - Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
- - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
