We are working we a leading UK retailer who are undertaking a major cloud transformation, investing heavily in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to modernise infrastructure and build a flexible, secure, and scalable digital platform. We are therefore looking for a Technical Product Manager to join the Cloud Infrastructure & Platforms team, working alongside engineering leaders, architects, and FinOps specialists to deliver the next generation of cloud-based solutions.
This is a highly technical product role where you'll partner closely with both onshore and offshore engineering teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and leadership to shape platform strategy and deliver real business impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the product vision and roadmap for cloud infrastructure platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical ambition.
- Partnering with engineering, architecture, security, and FinOps teams to define requirements, drive delivery, and embed best practices.
- Supporting the migration from on-premises to cloud and SaaS solutions, enabling product teams to thrive on modern infrastructure.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships across engineering, operations, and leadership, influencing at senior levels.
- Championing innovation, security, and cost optimisation through effective platform product management.
What We're Looking For
- Cloud expertise: Strong experience with GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
- Cloud transformation experience: Proven track record of delivering cloud migration or modernisation initiatives.
- FinOps exposure: Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation in cloud environments.
- Security awareness: Ability to integrate security considerations into product decisions.
- Product management: Experience defining product vision, roadmaps, and leading delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, and leadership.
- Knowledge of development life cycle, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices.
