Technical Product Manager - AWS Platform

You will be part of the Cloud & Productivity Engineering organisation within the Enterprise Technology division of LSEG. Wedeliver foundational cloud platform and developer experiences enabling LSEG to thrive in the cloud. We are building a world class CI/CD platform for deploying applications to the cloud that run critical business functions for LSEG customers. This CI/CD platform is the common developer experience for the software development teams across LSEG that enables us to continue thriving in the cloud in a safe and well-managed way by standardizing processes and automating compliance and security requirements.
As the Technical Product Manager for the AWS Platform on the Cloud Productivity Engineering (CPE) Product team, you will be building an AWS platform ecosystem that is intuitive, reliable, automated, secure, adaptable, and fast. You will need a deep technical background, strategic thinking, and a passion for driving innovation in cloud technology. You will need to be comfortable in conversation with engineering teams as well as customers ranging from developers to senior leaders.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDeveloping and communicating the product vision and strategy for our AWS platform, aligning the product roadmap to business requirements to accelerate application migrations.
Gathering and analysing customer feedback, market trends and business insights to inform our AWS platform engineering and automation strategy.
Fostering strong relationships with key business units and application teams to understand their needs and problems.
Working closely with engineering teams to design, build and enhance platformcapabilities andfeatures.
Engagingkeycustomers (Engineers, Architecture, Risk, and Cyber) directly through a variety ofbusinesschannels to serve as the voice of the customer internally -identifyingnewAWS platformcapabilities, defining product features, and working closely with development teams to getcapabilities and featuresincorporated.
Owning and prioritising the long-term (12-18 months)AWSplatformroadmap to deliver on business outcomes.
Working closely with tech leadership to understand thetrade-offsof technical decisions and how theyimpactthe customer experience your team will deliver.
Defining criticalOKR, milestones andmetrics forthe AWSplatformproduct and responsible tracking those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates.
Promoting best practices software development,DevOpsand infrastructure management.
You'llhave an end-to-end understanding of how tocreate a cohesive platform experienceforour application teams.
Proven experience in technical product management, productdesignor software engineering.
At least 5 years ofAWS Cloudtechnology or related experience in an energetic enterprise-facing business.
Demonstrated technicalexpertiseand strategic agility in proposing cloud platform innovations while influencing cross-departmental stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms, Cloud Modernisations, well architected principles, CI/CD and DevOpsexpertise.
Thought leader with a solid understanding of the keyCloudbusiness drivers and customer dynamics in high-tech industries.
Analytical and quantitative skills, experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Strong verbal and written communication skills withdemonstratedexperience engaging and influencing senior executives.
Strong work ethic as team player and a willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
A Technical Product leadership role that will play a significant part in shaping the future of the Cloud Engineering and Developer Experience at the scale of an enterprise.
