Technical Manager

Purpose of the Role

We're looking for a passionate Technical Manager to join our organization and play a key role in driving product performance, process excellence, and innovation within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams focused on improving product performance, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Own and deliver complex projects from concept through to execution, balancing timelines, costs, and quality.
• Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve product, process, and testing challenges.
• Drive validation activities including protocols, trials, studies, and reporting across equipment, processes, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., FDA, BSI, internal policies).
• Develop and grow your team through coaching, mentoring, and meaningful development opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement effective, data-driven solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Third-level qualification in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Experience within a life sciences, medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience, with a passion for developing people.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A collaborative mindset and openness to different perspectives and ways of working.
