The Vacancy

SES Engineering Services are looking for a Mechanically biased Technical Mechanical Manager to join our Central team focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

About the role

Our Technical Managers are a valuable part of our business, and their role will encompass both work winning and the delivery of live projects whilst providing strong management, governance and excellence for all engineering activities pre and post contract, across either a single large project or portfolio of projects.

As our Technical Manager you will:

Responsible for the technical performance of allocated bids & projects

Responsible for ensuring reporting technical performance in a disciplined and compliant manner

Manage design risk & opportunities with a robust and transparent approach

Responsible for MEP Designing the Promise compliance across allocated bids & projects

Responsible for CDM & Designing for Safety compliance across allocated bids & projects

Responsible for Operating Framework compliance across allocated bids & projects

Implement regional technical strategy

Promote implementation of the Technical Excellence Centre in the region

Solve technical & design problems and make decisions that have a major impact on WBS/WCG

Maximise technical & design performance of all allocated bids & projects

  • Bid Technical Reviews and management of design fees on allocated bids & projects
