Technical M&E Project Manager

Location - Covering North, North West & North East

Hours - 37.5 hours.

Salary: £50k - £60k (Experience dependant)

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a technical M&E background looking to deliver high-quality projects for a diverse client base?

Apleona Professional Services specialises in technical MEP, interior design, fit out and refurbishment, operating nationwide. We are looking for a Project Manager for Technical M&E Projects to join our growing team and lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical projects from inception through to completion.

As a Technical M&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of technical M&E projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required standards. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients, managing all aspects of project performance, commercial control and client communication.

This is a key, client facing role requiring strong organisation, leadership and decision making skills, along with a proactive, solutions focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical M&E projects from conception to completion
  • Control programme, budget, risk and commercial performance
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder communications
  • Oversee Health & Safety compliance and site standards
  • Prepare and manage reports, valuations, variations and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Building Regulations and company procedures
About You
  • Mechanical or Electrical qualification in a building related discipline (essential)
  • Proven experience delivering technical or M&E projects end to end
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM and building legislation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at senior levels
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and programmes
  • Highly organised, adaptable and able to work under pressure
  • SMSTS qualification (essential)
  • UK driving licence with access to a personal vehicle and willingness to travel nationwide
  • Desirable qualifications include Prince2/APM, NEBOSH, IOSH or Quantity Surveying experience.

We'll ensure you have everything you need to do a great job. You may ideally already have M&E project management experience gained in a similar role, within a fast paced, client led environment.

You will work 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility required, and you will have access to Apleona employee benefits as soon as you start, including a monthly car allowance.
