Technical Designer/Solution Design Authority -Chippenham, UK

We're looking for a Technical Designer to shape enterprise network and digital solutions. You'll work with stakeholders, internal teams, and technology partners to design secure, scalable solutions that align with business strategy.

What you'll do

• Act as solution designer for services/domains, supporting delivery and operations.

• Translate business needs into design requirements, including costs, risks, and dependencies.

• Produce architecture documents covering current, future, and transitional states.

• Contribute to proposals, RFIs, and change requests.

• Guide stakeholders through solution options in clear, practical terms.

Skills we value

• Experience with ICT vendor solutions (eg Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Microsoft, AWS).

• Knowledge of enterprise/solution architecture frameworks.

• Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and cost modelling skills (CAPEX/OPEX).

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Must be SC cleared or eligible for SC.

Location: Chippenham, UK (with options in Bristol, Reading, Hemel Hempstead)
