Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join Susquehanna to work alongside core business teams,traders, technologymanagers,developersand domain experts todrive and deliverbusiness andtechnologyinitiativesacross the full trading lifecycle.

You willpartnerwith the business todefine businessrequirementsacrossthefront and middleoffice environments.You willbe responsible forevaluatingappropriate methodologies(or aspects of methodologies) that best apply to these projects to ensure that they are deployed and implemented according to the needs of the business teams.

You will create and manage project plans and schedules,coordinate activitieswithinTechnology,identifypotential issues, provide status reporting/updatesandfacilitatethese projects and initiativesthrough tocompletion.

• The ideal candidate will have detailed experience in delivering complex technology solutions within one ormore offront office, middle and back-office functions.

Responsibilities

• Represent Technologyincross-functional, globalprojectsalongsideLegal, Trading, Operations, Compliance and Risk teamsand Interact with external counterparties (e.g.trading exchanges,brokersand counterparties) asrequired.
• Define project scopeandsolution;Translating requirements into actionable project roadmaps and key deliverables.
• Workingclosely with stakeholdersto ensuretransparency and buy-inacross the business areas.
• Provide regular concise and informativecommunication to stakeholders inclusive ofproject status reports,dashboardsandmeeting minutes.
• Take end users and senior business project sponsors through the process of defining business requirements for softwaredevelopments.
• Take ownership of the translation of business requirements into functional specifications.
• Coordinatetechnologyteams tofacilitatethe execution ofdeliverables, guiding their activities to ensure projectobjectivesare met.
• Driveprioritisationand resource alignment to ensuretimelyexecution of high-impact initiatives
• Take a lead role in working with developers and testers to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
• Working with end users during user review and UAT.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risk;.
• Documentingandtrackany openissues for stakeholders and project teams.

Experience

• A minimum of 6 years project management andbusiness analystexperience withinFinancialServices industry.

• A thorough understanding of operational trade flows (i.e., trade economics, trading platforms,venuesand exchanges, operational, legal, compliance and regulatoryconsiderations etc.) across at least 2 or more of Exchange traded Equities, ETFs, Options or Futures products.
• Proven project management and analyst experience delivering key business and technology initiatives within a tradingenvironment, with a demonstrated record of systems deliveryparticipatingin all aspects of requirements, design, QA, Support and UAT andproduction go-live.

• Strong leadership, planning, estimation, and risk management skillswith the ability to work independently

• Excellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills.

• Familiarity withAgile development methodologies,SQLand relational databases.

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel; experienceutilizingapplications such asVisio and Microsoft Project.
