Technical Business Analyst - Manufacturing Systems

We are currently looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale industrial IT transformation programme supporting manufacturing and production systems.

This role sits at the intersection of business operations and technical delivery, acting as the key interface between operational stakeholders and IT development teams. You will play an important role in analysing requirements, supporting deployments, and ensuring that manufacturing IT solutions deliver real operational value.

The role operates within an Agile delivery framework and supports systems including ERP, MES, TPS and SAP-related applications.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Technical Analysis

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders (Key Users/Super Key Users) and IT development teams

• Analyse operational requirements and translate them into functional specifications or user stories

• Support the analysis of new or non-standard business processes

• Perform functional and technical impact analysis

Solution Support & Deployment

• Provide functional and technical support to users across manufacturing systems

• Support users during solution deployments, go-live phases and hypercare

• Assist in the formulation of enhancement and improvement requests

Agile Delivery

• Qualify, structure and prioritise incidents, tasks and change requests

• Participate in backlog refinement and Agile ceremonies

• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities

Required Experience

• Experience deploying production IT solutions within industrial environments

• Experience supporting end users and operational teams

• Strong background working with manufacturing or production systems

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Industry experience within manufacturing sectors such as:

• Pharmaceuticals

• Plastics

• Food industry

• Automotive

• Aerospace

is highly beneficial.

Systems Knowledge

Experience or strong understanding of the following systems:

1. ERP systems (Production modules)

2. Product Configurators

3. Traceability Management Solutions

4. MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

5. SCM (Supply Chain Management)

6. WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

7. QMS (Quality Management Systems)

Skills

• Strong functional analysis and problem-solving skills

• Ability to understand and challenge technical solutions

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

• Experience working with cross-functional international teams

• SQL knowledge is a plus

Language

• English - minimum B2 level

Experience

• Master's degree with 3+ years relevant experience, or

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years relevant experience
