Technical Assessor - Full Time - Permanent

Join a team of 21,000 colleagues driving a greener, fairer future by powering the planet. The Technical Assessor will design and advise on domestic Energy Efficiency Upgrades and Retrofit Projects under SEAI supported schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design OSS & retrofit project works, ensuring cost effectiveness and accuracy while maintaining high quality standards.
• Liaise with Technical/BER Assessors and third party contractors to complete retrofit project plans, including scope and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, contractors, subcontractors, and in house personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all retrofit projects and designs comply with building regulations, SEAI requirements, and environmental standards.
• Implement quality control measures to guarantee that retrofit projects meet or exceed industry standards.

Skills & Experience

• Customer facing and technical experience designing domestic upgrades, preferably in the retrofit space aligned to SEAI Scheme regulations.
• BER Assessor qualification highly desirable, or NZEB/Passive Housing qualification, or equivalent in civil engineering, trade or a related field.
• Knowledge of energy efficient retrofitting and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage customer expectations along the customer journey and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Full clean driving licence.
