About the role

We are looking for a Technical Analyst to join a major banking transformation project. This is a hands-on technical role, ideal for someone who enjoys understanding legacy systems, digging into code, and configuring environments to support large-scale migrations to the cloud.

Responsibilities:

- Technical analysis of legacy systems and code.

- Support in migration from mainframe to cloud-based systems.

- Server configuration and working with Java 17 environments.

- Interaction with MQ queues and integration tools.

- Basic implementation tasks and environment setup. Close collaboration with the technical team.

Requirements:

- Solid knowledge of Java (preferably Java 17).

- Experience with MQ queues, servers, and technical environments.

- Ability to analyze code and understand legacy banking systems.

- Basic knowledge of Cobol (a plus, not a must).

- Previous experience in the banking sector.

Loaction: Milton Keynes - Hybrid model (2-3 days per week in the office).
