Technical Administrator

To provide technical and administrative support across the business, ensuring the effective management of systems, documentation, reporting, policies, compliance records and centralised business data. The role plays a key part in supporting Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety processes, maintaining document control and driving continuous improvement initiatives.The successful candidate will be highly organised, exceptionally detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple deadlines whilst proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
What You'll Be Doing Maintain and administer company management systems, databases and document repositories- Ensure business records, data and documents are accurate, current and easily accessible
- Support users across the business with system-related queries and information requests
- Manage document control processes including version control, approvals and distribution
- Ensure consistency of information across multiple business systems
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety
- Support compliance with relevant standards, policies and procedures
- Maintain registers, records, audit documentation and compliance evidence
- Co-ordinate and track corrective actions, improvement plans and audit findings
- Support internal and external audits through document preparation and record management
- Produce regular business reports and management information
- Collect, validate and analyse data from various sources
- Maintain KPI dashboards and performance reporting tools
- Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure information is submitted accurately and on time
- Identify trends, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
- Support the review, update and distribution of company policies and procedures
- Ensure documentation remains compliant, current and aligned with business requirements
- Maintain document revision histories and approval workflows
- Monitor review schedules and co-ordinate updates with relevant stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and operational processes
- Support continuous improvement activities across the business
- Develop and implement improvements to systems, workflows and reporting processes
- Promote best practice in document management, data quality and process control
- Contribute to projects aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy and business performance
- Previous experience in a technical administration, systems administration, compliance administration or similar role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience of document control and record management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyse information and identify discrepancies
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
- Experience supporting Quality, Environmental or Health & Safety systems
- Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001 and/or 45001)
- Experience using management systems, ERP systems or document management platforms
- Understanding of data analysis and KPI reporting
- Attention to Detail: Consistently produces accurate work, identifies errors and maintain
- high standards of documentation and data integrity.
