- 4 on 4 off-2 days12hrs6am-6pm, 2 days12 hrs6pm-6am, 4 days off- £31,154.96 + shift allowance (£10,131.36)
If you are applying for the 4 on 4 off shift pattern, there will be a 6-month training period due to our new line 7, there will therefore be a requirement to travel to our Rugby site to be given a full induction on our equipment. Travel and expenses for this will be covered, but please speak to the team for further information.
About the roleAs a Team Technician at our Beckton manufacturing site, you'll help produce and package iconic brands including Pepsi, 7UP, Tango and R White's. Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you'll operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring safety, quality and performance standards are achieved while driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities- Operate, monitor and maintain production equipment to deliver safety, quality and performance targets.
- Take ownership of health and safety, quality standards and housekeeping within your area.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support root cause problem solving.
- Drive asset care, equipment reliability and continuous improvement activities.
- Support and develop colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and best practice.
- Contribute to projects that improve plant performance, efficiency and ways of working.
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is desirable.
- Good understanding of health, safety and quality standards.
- Comfortable using computer systems and interpreting technical information.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO and COSHH standards would be advantageous.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or the ability to understand technical processes and documentation.
