Team Sister / Charge Nurse

We are looking for a Band 6 Charge Nurse / Ward Sister to join our team on Elgar Ward, which is a 15 bedded infectious diseases ward that takes admissions from Accident and Emergency, transfers from other wards for specialist care and transfers from the other infectious diseases wards.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for individuals who are committed to high quality patient care, professional development of both staff and themselves and are flexible. They will work closely with the band 7 Clinical Nurse Manager and deputise in their absence to include staffing and quality standards.

Person Specification Qualification

• NMC Professional Experience
• Degree in Nursing

Experience as a senior nurse

• Two years of experience
• Infectious disease experience
• qualified mentor with experience
