Team Planning Scheduler

Description

The specialist role of the Team Planning Scheduler is to support our Resort Teams by accurately forecasting, reporting, analysing and rostering our team including with, ultimately ensuring we deliver the right team in the place at the right time.

This role will play a pivotal role in short and long term planning.

KPI's
  • Labour cost vs. budget
  • Overtime costs
  • Forecast vs actual hours
  • Compliance with working time directive
  • Efficiency improvements
GENERAL DUTIES & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Produce accurate weekly rotas and forecasted demand
  • Align staffing levels with sales forecast
  • Monitor and adjust schedules in response to absence, demand changes and business needs
  • Ensure fair and consistent and allocation of hours
  • Ensure schedules comply with working time directive
  • Identify risks to budget
  • Maintain accurate workforce within scheduling systems
  • Maintain accurate records of absence, holidays and shift changes
  • Communicate rota changes effective
KEY KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in rota planning or workforce scheduling
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in excel and workforce management systems
  • Good understanding of labour cost control
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience in hospitality, retail or leisure would be desirable.
Key Responsibilities

For this specialist role, you should have previous experience in team planning and forecasting, it is desirable if you have experience with volume rostering and with a strong knowledge of the SAM platform. You will be working with lots of Leaders across many departments, therefore able to build, develop and enhance current working relationships with all Leaders of the business. You should enjoy taking ownership of challenges and competing tasks, with an eye for accurate detail and be a driver of change with a lean thinking mindset.

You should have the ability to plan, manage and execute effective rosters, be well organised, understand designated budgets to work within a financial framework and a structured environment.
