We are seeking a Team Leader to support our brand-new Gatwick Airport North Terminal store opening in mid October/begining November with energy, ambition, and heart. This is your chance to play a key role in a vibrant store where the team feels like family, guests feel like friends, and success is celebrated together.
What You'll Be DoingAs our Team Leader, you will:
- Lead by example and support your team to deliver "healthy and delicious food made fresh with love."
- Assist the management team in achieving store goals for service, food quality, and profitability.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to reach their full potential.
- Manage daily operations, including food production, waste control, and guest service.
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and urgency.
- Create a buzzing, fun, and family-like environment in the store.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve the store's success.
We're after someone who:
- Is passionate about leading and supporting a team.
- Stays calm under pressure and solves problems thoughtfully.
- Can coach and give constructive feedback to team members.
- Brings energy, positivity, and strong communication skills to every shift.
- Takes ownership, pays attention to detail, and leads by example.
- Is motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to our store's success.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role (hospitality preferred).
- Previous experience working in the airport (airside preferred)
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of food safety, health & safety practices, and company procedures.
- Ability to use systems (e.g., Stint, FNB, Trail, Vita Mojo, Platopus, Asana) is an advantage.
- Experience in team onboarding, training, and developing others.
