Team Manager Renters Rights

We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to lead the implementation of the Renters Rights Act 2025 across a busy local authority. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the Council is fully compliant with new legislation while delivering a coordinated, tenant-focused approach across all services.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Regulatory Services, you will oversee both the strategic planning and day-to-day delivery of the programme, working closely with Housing, Finance, Data and Communications to ensure a smooth and effective rollout.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the council-wide implementation of the Renters Rights Act 2025
• Develop and manage delivery plans to meet statutory requirements and key milestones
• Provide strategic oversight while supporting operational teams with practical implementation
• Work collaboratively with internal services to ensure a joined-up and compliant approach
• Support governance arrangements, reporting, and programme updates to senior leadership
• Ensure clear communication and engagement with tenants, landlords and key stakeholders
