We are currently recruiting for a Full-time Team Leader (Social Care Worker /CNM 1) to join our dedicated residential team.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will support the Residential Team Leader and Residential and Day Services Manager in the effective management of the residential service. This will include promoting person-centred practices, independence, choice and positive risk management; ensuring high-quality care and support for residents; supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes; promoting community participation and inclusion; safeguarding residents' rights and wellbeing; and supporting staff to deliver services in line with organisational policies, regulatory standards and best practice.

The successful candidate will also participate in the organisation's on-call management rota, providing out-of-hours support to all of our residential houses on a rotational basis. This will involve responding to operational issues, providing guidance and support to staff, and ensuring continuity of service delivery outside of normal working hours.

• Relevant recognised Degree in Social Care, Nursing, or qualification in Health or Social Care Management (minimum Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent qualification.
• Currently registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board as maintained by CORU or the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (evidence will be required).
• Have at least 3 years relevant experience in an intellectual disability setting
• Have a full clean driving license
• Willingness and ability to participate in the organisation's on-call rota for residential services.
• Be currently eligible to work in Ireland
• Nursing, Health or Social Care Management Qualification
• At least 2 years' supervisory experience
• Have experience in the implementation and development of PCP's

Remuneration

The successful candidate will be appointed on the Social Care Leader HSE Consolidated Payscales (Sept. 2008). €26.75 - €31.44 per hour depending on experience.

A panel may be formed for other permanent / temporary positions that may arise in our services over the next 12 months
